Been spending a lot of time in Casinos the past 2 weeks and find it interesting how in this unlikely place the fabric separating our physical world from the spiritual world seems to thin. No where else does one see such a range of humanity. From ecstasy to despair, people display a wide range of perspective. For most, God seems far from this place and maybe that is why I seem to see e spiritual world more clearly. In this environment I find nothing of God’s creation other than His created people.
We chase dreams that usually involve “getting more” but God wants us to chase dreams of “doing more”. I also find myself desiring to step out and experience the wonder of His creation. Be that the mountains and desert around Las Vegas or the expansive Gulf of Mexico outside Biloxi.
Thanking God today for the gentle reminder that He is God and He is always there for me.
